Youth Education Activity Hour
Calling all families – Join us for Youth Education Activity Hour at Kennewick First Lutheran Church.
Drop in anytime between 9:15 and 10:15 every Sunday morning during the school year.

Calling all families – Join us for Youth Education Activity Hour at Kennewick First Lutheran Church.

Mystery Box & Children's Church:
Kids take turns with the mystery box, bringing items for the children's time that go with the Gospel lesson for the day. This is a great way to get the kids involved with the Gospel each Sunday. Then, any children who are 4 years old - 2nd Grade may proceed to Children's Church. This lesson allows for an appropriate approach to the Gospel text during the sermon time at the 10:30 service.

King's Kids:
Meets on the first Sunday of every month after church, with dinner at noon and activities from 12:30 - 1:30 pm. It is a fun, interactive time for any preschool or elementary aged child. We learn about God, play games, and make crafts.

Vacation Bible School:
Held every summer for one week in July. Age ranges are from kindergarten through 6th grade. We combine with other ELCA churches in the area to spend time diving into God's word and building relationships with others. Lead by the great staff from Camp Lutherhaven, we are blessed to offer a fun, safe, God-centered experience for your children.

Camp Lutherhaven:
A camp in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho that Kennewick First Lutheran is heavily involved with. Every summer, we take elementary, middle, and high school students up to spend a week on Lake Coeur d'Alene with God, nature, and other kids their age. Parents are more than welcome to join this week as volunteers to make the week at camp even more memorable for your family. Scholarships available.
