Evangelism & Community Outreach

• Deacon’s Fund – Dedicated to support individuals in financial need in our community through direct donations from members of the congregation apart from routine benevolences provided in the church budget. 
• Food Cart – Non-perishable food items donated by the congregation then made available to members and non-members on an as needed basis. The food cart is located in the Narthex and open to all in need.
• 2nd Harvest Food Bank – Food sort and mobile distribution.
• “God’s Work. Our Hands.” – This day is an opportunity to celebrate who we are as the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America – one church, freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor. For more information, visit: http://www.elca.org/dayofservice.
• Projects for Children – Filling backpacks with supplies for a nearby elementary school in need, assembling donated items into care packages for Operation Christmas Child.
• Latino Lutheran Ministries – Members are involved in social and civic activities serving our local Latino community
• Kristi Wagnild Overseas Outreach – A world mission overseas outreach program supported through the sale of Fair Trade goods.
